ABOUT ARKUS
Thanks for finding us.
Arkus was built by people who did everything right and still woke up in pain.
Like you, we had the arch support. The orthotics that went into the work shoes every morning. The stretches, the frozen bottle, the night splint in the drawer. And every morning, the same first step out of bed — like the whole night had been undone.
We kept thinking the problem was us. Our feet were worse. We weren't consistent enough. We hadn't found the right insert yet.
Then we realised the problem was never us. It was the hours.
OUR MISSION
Your plantar fascia isn't built to bear weight. When your arch collapses, it carries your body anyway — and arch support is the only thing that takes that load off it.
Which is exactly why your orthotics help during your shift, and exactly why nothing else does.
Our mission is simple: give people arch support that stays with their foot for all twenty-four hours, not just the eight they're in the right pair of shoes.
THE HOURS NOBODY COUNTS
Most people assume their mornings hurt because of how they slept, or their weight, or because plantar fasciitis is just like that.
The real reason is simpler: for most of the day, your arch has nothing under it.
Orthotics work — while they're in the shoe. But you kick your shoes off at the door. You get up at 2am. You walk to the kitchen. You wear the flats an insert won't fit into. Overnight, the fascia contracts, and the first unsupported step of the morning pulls it apart again — like separating glue before it's had time to set.
We call it part-time arch support. Most people call it "I don't know why, but the mornings never get better."
The average plantar fasciitis sufferer spends between $450 and $1,600 on orthotics and inserts — for support that covers a third of their day.
OUR COMMITMENT TO QUALITY
Arkus was built to close the gap every arch support before it left open.
- FlexCell arch module, heat-bonded into the sock — not glued on, not inserted. It sits exactly on your arch and moves with your foot. No sliding, no bunching.
- Shore A 25–30 silicone — the same firmness range as a quality insert. Firm enough to hold under full body weight, soft enough to wear for twelve hours.
- Individual flex cells — each chamber compresses on its own, spreading your weight across the whole arch instead of loading one point.
- Zero added shoe volume — fits dress shoes, flats, clogs and slip-ons that an insert was never going to fit.
- Full-time coverage — shoes on, shoes off, morning to shower.
We built Arkus because nothing like it existed, and we were tired of arch support that clocked out before we did.
